In celebration of Children’s Day, Samsung Electro-Mechanics (CEO Yun Tae Lee) held a variety of events for employees and their families, neighborhood residents, and others at 4 of its domestic plants.
Over 10 thousand family members of Samsung Electro-Mechanics employees were in attendance to enjoy the various amusements, exhibits, and foods, with invitations also having been sent to over 300 neighborhood residents, multicultural families, and the like.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics installed a variety of rides such as trains and swimming pools in the plants, turning these next generation product development areas into playgrounds. There was also a diverse range of programming, including fusion Madangguk performances where everyone from grandfathers to grandchildren participated and cheerful sports competitions. There were even hands-on events such as cooking classes where an entire family could cook together, and game zones where families could play soccer and games such as shoe archery.
Pro Gi Duk Chun, who was in attendance with his 6 year old child, said “I’m always worried about where to take my family on Children's Day, but having the company hold this event means that I can safely and conveniently spend this Children’s Day with my family.”
Samsung Electro-Mechanics HR Team Leader Managing Director Seung Mo Ryu said, “We prepared a variety of events and foods so that our employees and their families can have a happy time together this Children’s Day,” and that, “We hope that our employees and their families make happy memories together.”
